We are continuing in the spirit of the season with our reads this week!
This is a short week for students here at Holy Trinity, and fortunately we will still get to see almost all the students!
Cake Kingdom is about a bakery and its cakes and so much more. The Gigantic Turnip is all about cooperation and perseverance. Finally, Peanut Butter and
Jelly Brains begins our Halloween reading.
This week in the library we were fortunate to talk about apples, poets and creative solutions. Johnny “Appleseed” Chapman’s birthday was on Tuesday, and we talked about his contributions giving apple trees to pioneers. Additionally, Monday was Shel Silverstein’s birthday and we have had a wonderful time reading “A Giraffe and a Half.” Our creative solution book this week was “The Sock Thief.” Ask your lower school students about why Felipe needed socks!
A scripture-based, 60-second, challenge toward fidelity in living-out the call to Christian discipleship!
